\Open Mic. Night

Dillon's Open Mic. is now every Monday from 8:00 - 11:00.  Open Mic is hosted by Slaus Brown Paul.  Sign-up is for a 20 minute time slot and is first come, first serve.  We provide a microphone and PA.  You must bring your own instrument.  We are drum friendly.  All musical styles are appropriate but we are family friendly and we ask that you keep that in mind.

Booking Information

Atlanta is fortunate to have many talented musicians.  We receive several info packs every week from bands that would like to perform here at Dillon's and we are currently booked a number of months out.  With the advent of digital home recording tools, many bands are able to put together pretty decent sounding demos.  Unfortunately, there is no way to understand audience involvement/reaction, or band popularity and following.  We therefore invite you to participate in our Open Mic nights as a way of demonstrating some of these "softer", but important criteria.  

• Dillon's will provide the PA and Microphones

• We ask that you bring limited (and smaller sized) equipment

• We will reserve a longer period of time instead of the usual 20 minute slot

• We will listen to you as well as gauge audience interaction and reaction

• We will also use the opportunity to understand your following

• If we feel there is a fit, we will provide you with dates for a weekend booking at Dillon's
